Being a teenager is a great time, your entire future is ahead of you and you can be anything you want to be. But that thought alone can cause anxiety. Planning for your future, keeping up with your academics, making friends, break outs and break ups, football games and drivers ed, even keeping streaks alive can induce stress. We want to be sure you are practicing self care and if there is ever a time you feel it is too much to handle we want you to reach out. Reach out to us, reach out to your parents, friends, teachers and ask for help.

LGBTQ Youth - Student Services is a SAFE SPACE
JH Rose is committed to providing a safe learning environment for all of our students. One that is free from discrimination and harassment and ensures that every student has equal access to the district's educational programs, services, and activities.
Student Services mission is to support all of the students of our diverse population. We want students, including LGBTQ students, to know that they can speak freely and confidentially to us.
Resources for LGBTQ Youth:
If interested, students may join JHR's PRIDE Alliance. This group provides support for LGBT students and their allies in a safe and respectful environment. Meetings are held twice a month in room 102.
